Last week a few of us marked a new trail from the Lebanon Road entrance to Veterans Park. We located the stanchions from the 1933 -1965 ski tow that operated in that area. Then on Friday we finished cutting in the trail from the Northrup Road entrance to Simpson Preserve down to the central area.
This week we are going to work on cutting in the trail that leads from Lebanon Road to Veterans Park. Useful tools will be rakes, weed whackers, leaf blowers, loppers, and a chain saw.
We will meet at the end of Lebanon Rd at 9 on Wednesday June 2.
