- Danica Doroski, the Urban Forestry Coordinator from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP)
- Dr. Miriah Kelly, Associate Professor of Environmental Science, SCSU
- Dr. Joseph P. Milone, Assistant Professor of the Department of Recreation, Tourism, and Sport Management, SCSU
There will be a Q&A session and, depending upon the weather, following the symposium, there will be a hike at West Rock Ridge State Park led by Dr. Milone, formerly a Park Ranger for West Rock. Transportation to the park will be provided by SCSU. Hikers are encouraged to bring their own lunch as no lunch will be provided for hikers.Click here for more information and RSVP instructions: https://calendar.southernct.edu/campuscommunity/event/36154-parks-pedagogy-and-policy-ecology-as-catalyst-for
