Last week we moved the bench Bart had restored to its new location on a trail at Simpson with a good sunset view. We also spread out and cleared trails and some invasives at Woodward, Simpson and Three Sisters.
This week we are going to work at Welch and Hein which are very close to each other on Carrington Road. At Welch we are going to put in bog bridging, clear the trails, and pull invasives. Useful tools will be stone moving ones, hammers, leaf blowers and root pullers for the invasives. At Hein, 2/3 of the trails have been leaf blown, but the rest need it as well as correcting the signage. A small handsaw is needed for one location and a chainsaw for a tree downed near the Carrington Rd. entrance.
We will meet at the Carrington road entrance to Welch which is on the dirt road, south of 156 Carrington Road, 9 AM on Wednesday.
