On Thursday, October 16th at 7 PM at Veteran’s Memorial Lodge, Jim Powers, author, researcher, archaeologist and retired teacher from Guilford Connecticut will give a presentation describing indigenous ceremonial stone structures. With a small team, Jim has been investigating Ceremonial Stone Landscapes throughout southern Connecticut to further understand their astronomical, spiritual, and cultural significance to the Indigenous inhabitants of Connecticut and beyond.
