Membership & Donations

The Bethany Land Trust (BLT) is a private, publically supported 501 (c)(3) charitable corporation dedicated to serving the Bethany region through the conservation of land in Bethany and neighboring municipalities.

Established in 1968, the Trust currently preserves approximately 637 acres of fee and easement lands (437 acres owned and 200 acres in easements) and manages other lands held by the town. Conservation land managed by BLT will be preserved in perpetuity.

Trust fee lands are preserved in their natural state and, wherever possible, open to the public for hiking, horseback riding, cross country skiing, nature study and other passive recreational pursuits. In addition, BLT holds scenic, agricultural and trail conservation easements. The Trust is particularly interested in continuing to acquire and protect land which forms connecting habitat as well as enhances the Bethany trails system.

Your membership and support are needed.

Only with your help can the Trust continue and expand its activities. All memberships and contributions are tax deductible!

If you would prefer to mail a check, please print out our membership form (PDF).
